Why try Cosmetic Acupuncture rather than Cosmetic Surgery?

Facial Acupuncture is safe and avoids the side effects of Botox and some cosmetic procedures.

Our eyes maybe the window to the soul, the face is the reflection of your internal imbalances and our internal health.

Cosmetic or Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture was practised for thousands of years in China as a natural health treatment.  It will diagnose, treat and improve both your internal health and your face simultaneously.

When you feel good this is reflected in how you look just as looking good can boost self-confidence.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture isn’t just about the face as ancient Chinese texts list hundreds of herbal formulas and treatments to help all types of skin conditions and slow down ageing. This can also include treatment to improve hair growth following hair loss.

Facial Diagnosis

Our internal imbalances can be diagnosed from the face.  The area below the eyes is typically a sign of kidney deficiency.   Redness in and around the eyes can be a sign of heat in the liver, pale dry skin can be due to poor blood circulation or blood deficiency it can also be due to lung weakness.

A green hue around the mouth can be a sign of liver qi stagnancy. Oily and pimpled skin can be an indication of a hormonal imbalance though some women notice this before menstruation.  The areas we develop our lines can also be clues to our internal issues.
